Hi,
I am trying to back up the code which makes up my website, like Theme.liquid, Product.liquid, Cart.liquid etc. I am using a free online storage set-up called "Dropbox". The trouble is when I copy and paste a page of code into a Wordpad document it does not look the same as when it is in it's original form within Admin. That is the spacings and line breaks etc. are all changed meaning the code will not work the same.
Is there a way to copy text and paste it into a document and keep it original ? A free online storage device perhaps ?
Hoping someone has a suggestion,
Thanks in advance, Mickmac

Try NotePad++

It's free, so you aren't out any money. I'm not sure if it will support .liquid though (I have honestly never heard of that file type). Even if it doesn't work, you gained yourself a useful program.

I hope it works for you though!
