Converting Access Database

I am helping a friend who has a database program on Access 2003. He has a new computer without Access. Should he purchase an old 2003, or
can he purchase an Access 2010 and load on the old program?
Also, how do we save or import the program from the old computer with the 03 to the new computer with access 2010?
Help? Appreciate help really alot, this friend is retired and it is a 'church' program.

I think you will find that copying the database to the new computer and simply attempting to open it should work.

Don't quite understand exactly what you have or what the situation actually is but the Access 2010 runtime is a free download from Microsoft and will allow you to run, but not (re)program the database.
Hope it was developed as an application for "others" to use as opposed to a "for my use only" which would require full blown Access.

Just re-read your post. Just copy the .mdb file to the new computer.
