I am looking for a program to convert a PDF into a word file. I am looking for a free program, and several show up when doing a google search. I am looking for a "safe" one. Has anyone used one that was "safe" and did not install 17 different toolbars or other junk that it not wanted ? I have always had good luck getting good answers from this site, so I hope someone can help me

Before you try a 3rd party app, try opening your .pdf in Word, it may or may not work:

Can't a "copy all" & paste solve this? I think I've tried it.

It depends how the PDF was created. One created from a text document, such as a Word doc, and isn't copy protected often can be just copied and pasted. Image only PDFs, such as made from scans, require OCR to convert to a Word doc and will probably require considerable editing.
