Hi
I need to find a way to control my uncle's computer remotely to help him out with computer problems (which occur often).
At the moment i use teamviewer, but it needs installing on both computers. Is there a way of achieving the "teamviewer effect" without
any additional software on either computer. Although it obviously doesnt matter if the other person must give permission every time because
its what he wants to.
Thanks

You can use Remote Desktop for that, but it involves forwarding ports on your (and your uncle's) router/firewall/both, so it would probably be easier to use something like 'Team Viewer' or 'LogMeIn'.
You could even create a VPN between your uncle's and your computers using a program like 'Hamachi' (free), at which point Remote Desktop becomes a good option.
LogMeIn installed once will give you access without 'end user permissions'. 'Add computer' on you uncle's PC, you can access any time.
