lemonguy6,
---
Please [ better explain ] what you want to do.
---
A CPU is a Processor Chip and obviously you don't want to attach a chip to your screen.

Are you saying you have a laptop that you want to use as a normal computer monitor?

If so, that is not possible.

What is it about the replies you got that is not clear?

...that is not possible.
it not possibele

raphoenix described how you could use the laptop to login to the desktop remotely over the network. However, this is not using the laptop screen as a desktop monitor, it's just a remote login. Also, it is difficult to setup remote login without a monitor on the desktop.

You can connect a desktop to a TV if it has working video-out connectors. What is the make and model of the desktop?

Use the S-Video thingy. You will need an adapter to connect to the composite video (RCA jacks) on the TV.
