Hi new to the forum.Just want to learn.I started my laptop to the out of the box.how do i know if i have virus.trying to be brief here.using microsoft security essentials.the laptop is one year old.has windows 7. 2g memory.dont do much with it just games.so nothing on the hard drive.im a construction worker with nothing to do for the winter

Run SuperAntiSpyware from time to time: http://www.superantispyware.com/ It usually finds a lot of tracking cookies. But those are benign. You have to watch if it finds more serious stuff.
