I have Windows Vista; when I am reading information, for example like news on MSNBC.com and scrolling down, the information on the computer screen jumps back to the top everytime, which is annoying. Any suggestions, please?

Do you have other tabs open, that are updating on a regular basis ?

Hello PennyGMD3 and welcome to How to Geek,

I am guessing you are using Internet Explorer, I was having the exact same problem when I used to use Internet Explorer. I assume it is a bug, I am now using Firefox and I DON'T experience the scrolling problem with that. I always used to find that when scrolling slower, it didn't use to jump back to the top.

Give Firefox a try and see if you experience the same scrolling problem, if you do then it will be a problem elsewhere.

Thanks

Jordan

Thank you, Jordan. I downloaded Firefox, and the problem seems to have stopped. Because I'm not familiar with Firefox, I wanted to save something in the Bookmarks section, but don't know how to add it to my folders. In Internet Explorer, I just clicked on Add to Folder. Can you help me with this?

Glad it has stopped, as for your bookmarking problem I did not quite understand what you are asking...

Did you simply want to learn how to bookmark a page..?
Or how to export bookmarks to Firefox..?

If you want to learn how to bookmark a page look at this article.

Regards

Jordan
