so i kinda wanna build my own comp, right now im kinda want to just using it for general purposes (internet surfing, writing essays, maybe running some programming programs, i might play some games, but i dont want to spend a lot of money on that because i dont have that much time,) but im probably going to use it during college for computer science, software engineering tech., but havent really decided yet
heres my build and plz tell me if i have problems or some parts are that good (budget as cheap as possible, less than or a little over $1000) and the pros and cons of the parts

Right now its a little less than $1000, but will probably go over once I buy windows 8.

That motherboard is out-dated.

Need to get something comparable to this MB to keep from throwing money away.

ok, got it. should i replace the i7 with i5 (ivy bridge, both) to make up for the cost? or is the difference between the two cpu's huge?
