Hello there Geek Forums, I have a serious problem with my Acer computer. Last night I tried to do a system restore and since then I have been waiting for it to restart....but no go. Please help me, I dont want to force a restart becuase it says not to turn off or unplug anything :( Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Comp won't shutdown/restart

Your comp is apparently hung up. Shut it down with the power switch, then restart and keep tapping F8 until you get a black window with white writing. Navigate to "Safe Mode" (with the up/down keys), hit Enter. When you see the slightly distorted windows desktop, go to restart. That should reboot your W7.
