I have an HP Pavilion Desktop w/ Windows 7 OS. Got the BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH, it did a core dump and rebooted. The error COMCTL32.dll comes up indicating that it is missing or corrupt, try reinstalling. I don't think the OS is corrupt, could it just be that the index is messed up? If this is the problem is there a utility that can used to fix this problem?
