Hi, is there any way (easy) which i can combine multiple gifs into one file?
ie i have a series of gifs, all of which are animated, into one 'collage'
ie files a.gif b.gif c.gif etc
and i want to arrange them on one canvas such as:

ABCDEFG
HIJKLMN
OPQRSTV
WXYZ123

etc

can anyone help me? i'm using windows xp
or if i send the gifs to someone, can they do it for me?

thanks

What kind of file were you thinking of?

You can make a webpage with all of them on it. That's easy and there are programs that even do it for you. I think even Irfanview has such a function.

But if you want to make a singel gif file with the other gifs worked into it, you have a lot of work to do.
It can be done using Paintshop Pro or another heavyweight image-editor, but it is a lot of work and I don't see any benefit in it.

Here's an oldie, that still works pretty fine, to make the html template: Gallery Wizard.

For the thumbnails you should use Irfanview or some other, because Gallery wizard only makes jpg thumbnails, and that means you lose the animation in the preview.

Cheers,
Sarah.

@rosy87,

I would be able to do this for you, you would be able to play this file in a flash player.

How much individual gif files are you talking about?
