So I just started my first year in college, I am a heavy Utorrent user and am pretty sad to know that I can't use it here, I had to get my laptop "registered" to use the internet, I still have Utorrent, it just can't download anything. Any idea how to get around something like this while still using the colleges internet?

If your college has put in this procedure, I think you should learn to live with it. It is not our habit to advise people how to get around policies of institutions.

jcvciii,
Welcome to The HTG Forums.
I totally agree with (whs).

Concentrate seriously on your studies and don't worry about trivial issues such as Utorrent.

Use your computer for learning, not as a play toy. Much will be expected of you in the coming year.

Kindest Regards,
Rick P. ♥ :)

i agree with the others but you may want to try using a proxy seeing as we don't want to get into legal issues here that is all i'm going to say.
