hey, i installed DIRT and had a look in all the directories but i cant find that .dll file
maybe it something in your directx, do a dxdiag and see if the files are all correct, i googled XINPUT1_3.DLL and it seems to be a directx problem, have you installed or updated directx lately?
another option is to insert the DIRT CD again and explore the CD then install the directx from the game. or the latest directx
another solution go to this site and it will explain how to install the missing .dll file :)

Hi anderson, the link I gave you works fine for me. When doubled clicked it asks you what program you want to use to open the .dll. (And not to ask you to buy something, hehe!!) What you have to do is move the unpacked .dll file into the folder where Dirt is installed. Then everything should be fine. Matt

I downloaded the file from Matts link. It didn't ask me to buy anything. It is only an ordinary .zip file and I unpacked it with Universal Extractor.
