I am not an very experienced pc user.
My Question Goes Like This:I have a 64 bit windows 7 home premium OS,and i have used K-Lite for years now but Windows Media Player is swalloving all my CPU,and i have been aware off Shark 007 64 components 3.9.0.
Would it make any improvement to install these codec instead.

You could try installing this, I use it instead of Windows Media player, plays all forms of media

A far as I understand, it's best to ONLY get the codecs you actually need otherwise your pc will suffer a performance penalty in some way.

VLC player is a good one.

There are very few codecs that Windows 7 does not support out of the box. Codecs are dangerous and I would not use them. Rather use VLC as suggested.

Do not use K-Lite unless you want to add to problems!

This is all you need; http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html
