Wondering what the difference is between Windows 7 and Windows 8 chkdsk

I have win 8 so when I do right click my HD properties,tool and click chkdsk it says my system files is good don't need to scan.

However, I never saw this in win 7 and I keep hearing people saying that win 7 chkdsk features are the same as win 8 and win 7 does have these features.

Is This True Or Am I Crazy????

Windows 8 does some tasks differently.
