i recently kept an inverter in my home.during power outage i use inverter as a power back up.but yesterday when i was going to charge my laptop my brother said not to charge the battery through inverter since it will damage the battery.he reasoned that charger provides low volts which damages the battery.i was not convinced.is it really so or are there any other reasons not to charge with an inverter?is it safe to charge your laptop from an inverter??I have a 500 W inverter
