quick question, when i tried to change the default location of a user folder, ie. Documents and Videos, to a partition on my computer, the text of the folder name and the file names inside the folders turned blue. the last time i changed the location, i don't seem to remember that happening. anybody know why this happened and how i can change the text colors back to the default?

How did you move the folder? Seems like an odd thing to happen from just moving the folder.
Blue text means the folder is compressed. Just right click on the folder, click properties, click advanced at the bottom and uncheck "Compress Contents to save disk space".

This will happen if you moved the folders to a compressed partition

@jd2
from the user folder, i right clicked the folder > Properties > Location tab > move.

i tried your suggestion, it worked for the files inside the foler but not the user folder

@Lighthouse
does that mean i can't compress the partition when i put user folders there?

No. I don't know if you have partitions compressed or not. I don't. But once, when I created a partition, it automatically set itself to compressed, then when I started moving things across, they turned blue.(I know, I should have checked first)
