I have an Acer Aspire 6920G lap top, and the CMOS battery is failing, I have been told that on this particular lap top, the battery is not changeable, as it is fixed to the motherboard. So in order to change the battery the motherboard has to be changed out. Is this correct, and if so how difficult is it to change out the motherboard...........Thanks........

Maybe, but I have heard that it could be welded to the motherboard, I have not been able to find an answer anywhere........

Acer Aspire 6920G motherboard. The battery is like what ronniesonora posted above. It is not hard to replace, but to get into it you have to remove the bottom covers to expose the battery.
