I've just recently installed windows 7 Ultimate and have pretty much got everything the way i want it. All of a sudden both of my cdrom drives have disappeared. I went into device manager and found them and windows told me that the files for the two devices was lost or corrupted in the registry. The first thing i did was update drivers thinking the registry would pick it up. Nope. Next thing i did was uninstall them both and reinstall. Nope. So, at this point they once again show up in device manager but not in windows. Any suggestions?
