I have an I/O Magic internal CD re-writable drive 52x24x52 from 2003 and I want to connect it to my 2007 Dell Inspiron 531 computer (desktop). I don't know where the two little wires go that are with the CD drive and I don't have the software (disc?) either. Can someone tell me what I'm doing? Thanks!

I have Dell Inspiton 531, and i dont think that a 4 year-old CD drive would fit on the 2007 Inspiron 531,
and dont take my words for sure...but im just guessing it wont work.

The wires are probably just some extra audio wires, I wouldn't worry about them.
