Can anybody tell me where I can convert scrap computer parts or batteries into cash? Meaning is there any location or website where they pay for the said stuff?

Not that I know off. The good folk here donate stuff like that for free.
If you have upwards of 1000 tons, you could try shipping it to China. But you still won't get much payback.

Thanks for that info. I tried Gazelle.com but that is only for cell phones or apple products recycle.
