can't see video at youtube .... thanks guys .. it is solved

hello friends ,

again i have one question about linux , please bare me , coz i really don't know much about linux ( bt i really like it ) ..

here is my problem ,

whenever i try to play a video in youtube , i can't see video screen , i mean i can see all other thing bt can't see the video that is currently being played also can't hear sound . i have installed flash player for liunx and also i have tried for Gnash .... bt for both it doesn't work . when i disable flash from addons in firefox ,and then open youtube , i get message that i have not installed flash player and when i enable it just like i said before , video screen turns to be white :P bt rest of things remain good ... its really weird problem ..

please help me out ....

the only way i could get adobe flash player to work was to go to lifehacker. firefox prompted me to install a missing add-on. it installed adobe flash player. unlike adobe's site that couldn't install it's own product for linux. at least this worked on mine...

i think i went to the synaptic package manager and seached for flash things or something along those lines
