A recent Windows Update offered an update for HP monitor w2207. However, when trying to install this update it downloads but then refuses to install because "Access Denied". System is Vista Premium SP2.

If anyone has found a work around for this, please share it here.

Tnx - M.

Hi Morty, welcome to HTG. Could you please give us the KB number of the Windows update, it would help us to research your problem. Matt

Thank you for your reply. I see what you mean. It doesn't have a KB number, but how did it get into the WUs on the last patch Tuesday? Anyway, I'll check this out with HP instead. Thanks again. Mort.

I have the same monitor, but no problems. If you can find the KB number, I'LL check whether it installed on my system.
