I am having a problem connecting to the net from my account, however i can connect to msn and i cna use other programs that connect to the internet i just cant use IE7 to connect to the net. i have cheked if my IE is on work offline mode but it isnt.

Other accounts on this computer to connect to the internet fully i.e use IE and use programs that connect to the net like msn.

any help is appreciated

well i checked my account and it doesn't recognize my connection, however i also checked my brothers account and it is the same for him but he has access to the internet. this is weird. i believe all the trouble i am experiencing is related to some sort of virus, malware, spyware, adware crap on my computer that my anti virus programs/spy ware programs have not detected.
i have posted a hijack this log on my other thread, maybe hijack this found something
anyways i went to internet options-advanced and reset settings to factory default and i now have connection
thanks for giving me the idea of resetting my settings.
