Canon Printer and Bluetooth

I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and a Canon MG5140 printer. I connected the printer via USB and install the printer. In Devices and Printer the printer shows correctly and all functions works fine. Then I connected the bluetooth adapter to the printer and remove the USB cable. Once paired with the printer I notice another printer in devices and printers labelled as Copy 1.

When I try to print from pc it says its unable to communicate with printer. If I try to scan from the printer is says to set pc to start scan but once I remove the usb cable I have no options on the printer under devices. The Copy 1 icon of the printer also has a yellow ! Mark next to it.

Any help will be appreciated.

Yellow ! is usually a driver problem.

It might also be a driver problem with your bluetooth dongle.

The only issue that I can see is that it says Bluetooth port not configure properly. As for a driver for the Bluetooth port, I can't seem to find anything on Canon website.

I really don't know what the implications of that statement are, but it does not sound right.

Is Bluetooth enabled in the BIOS ?
