Canon MP495 Printer settings error?

Whenever I click on printer properties/settings before clicling on print i get a windows error message then it freezes:

'function address 0x6ec9780c caused a protection fault. (exception code 0xc0000005) The application property sheet page(s) may not function properly'

please advise. Thanks

Try unstalling and reinstalling the drivers (get the latest from the Canon's site).

This is typically caused by the print driver preferences page corrupting the memory on the current application.
