Hello,

I have Vista Ultimate OS.The problem is I cannot locate the side bar.
No not even in Accessories section or anywhere else.I searched in google and came across this solution,

" Jason Ross
I had the same issue. The way I solved it was by running the command prompt as a true administrator and typing in these commands:

cd \Program Files\Windows Sidebar
regsvr32 -u sbdrop.dll
regsvr32 -u wlsrvc.dll
regsvr32 atl.dll
regsvr32 sbdrop.dll
regsvr32 wlsrvc.dll "

But In the command prompt I faced these errors messages,

"
C: \Windows\system32>cd \Program Files\Windows Sidebar
The system cannot find the path specified.

C: \Windows\system32>regsvr32 -u sbdrop.dll
'regsvr' is not recognized as an internal or external cammand,
operable program or batch file. "

Could you please suggest how to proceed?

The sidebar is at this address: C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar. See whether you can find it there. If yes, open the .exe. Else, you might want to try this: http://www.thoosje.com/sidebar.html

Have a look in the, C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar folder, and see if Sidebar.exe exists.
Also. Type "s" (without quotes) into the Start Search box. Does Sidebar show on the list?
