I am constantly annoyed by the edit links pop-up. Many of my spreadsheets have links that could be from twenty or more years old.

I have unchecked the "ask" option in the File > Options ... area but the pop-ups continue.

What more can I do. I don't care at all about old links.

Thanks six

Does this help where it says:

Regardless of the options that you choose, Excel still displays a message if the workbook contains links that are not valid or links that are broken.

I did look at that KB write up but the line you pointed to did not register at that time. Kind of dumb IMO.

I think I can copy/paste the worksheet to a new blank worksheet. I don't think the old links are copied. (a pain in the a$$ !! )

Thanks for your input.
