Hi,
I can't get to the site http://gentoo-wiki.com/ at the moment.
I just found out that the http://hidemy.info proxy.
So I was just wondering can anyone else here get to the site?

I can. and the first thing written was this
2008-03-10 - New Wiki Server

New Server!

Well we've upgraded again, this time to a dual quad core Xeon box with a larger hard drive and proper raid backup. I'm still in the process of moving all the language wikis so please bear with me. If your language's wiki is still down please hold on it should be up soon.

Cool site. It shows "It's just you. gentoo-wiki.com is up."
I'll call my ISP now and tell them I can't get to the site.

Hmm. I just called my ISP and they said they could get to the web site too.
I guess my router must be the problem.

That website made the rounds a few weeks ago on all the tech news sites =)

@jd

Your DNS is probably pointing at the old address, I'd guess.

@Lighthouse: It is a timeout error.
@The Geek: Nice guess but that isn't it. Going to http://69.31.133.15/ (The site's current IP) doesn't work either.
I'll have to test it but I think it is a problem with my router.
I've had many weird issues with routers lately so I think this is just another one of them.

Ok, I can get to site now after getting another router.
Here is my router history for anyone interested:
A few months ago - D-Link RP614 was dropping connections on the wireless, it was about 1-2 years old so not that odd for an old product.
A few weeks later - Bought a Trendnet TEW-452BRP router.
A few days later - It started dropping connections on both the wireless and wired.
A week later - Bought D-Link DIR-655 router because we didn't want to wait for the Trendnet to come and it had gigabit Ethernet and N wireless.
2 weeks later - Got another Trendnet router via RMA and it was ok. Didn't need to use it as I now had a D-Link DIR-655 router.
3 weeks later - The D-Link DIR-655 router was having speed problems. My 12Megabit connection was down to a 1Megabit connection. Sent back to get another router via RMA.
Same - Using Trendnet router from before now while waiting for DIR-655. Can't get to gentoo-wiki.com web site.
Today - Got another D-Link DIR-655 router in the mail. Set it up and now I have back a 12Megabit connection and can get to the gentoo-wiki.com web site. Hopefully it stays that way.
