Help. I have tried to download adobe flash player9 many times, without success. When I first tried adobe uninstalled my flash player 8, which was working. Now I have nothing and cannot interact with many web pages. I have followed adobe's instructions for when the download does not work. Adobe wont help and HP wont help. Can not download Adobe acrobat pdf files with vista
(29 posts)I would uninstall everything, preferably with Revo http://www.revouninstaller.com/ and then start from scratch.
Best strategy is to first download into your DOWNLOADS folder (or any other) by saying SAVE instead of RUN in the little download window. Then you open that folder and double click on the downloaded folder - just watch out that it is not by chance a .zip folder. That you have to first unzip (Extract) before you double click for installation. In the meantime you can close everything except the DOWNLOADS (or whatever) folder.
I've just installed Vista service pack 1 today and now I can't download PDF files from my usual sources. I am using Adobe 9 because it was the same on Adobe 8 and Explorer. Firefox is no different. I aren't technical at all so need help. Mine is a new computer too but the problems only started with the update.
