can i install a graphics card on my compaq desktop

I would like some info on whether or not I can install a graphics card in my compaq 3100 desktop. It currently has one of this intergrated video systems(SIS) in it and I cant play some of the games I like. I know I can add more memory to it but I would really like to upgrade the graphics in it as well. With the price of compters these days I think it might be cheaper to upgrade than buy a new one what do you guys think?

First question would be whether your box has an AGP port. A PCI port would be an alternative, but that is a lot slower. You have to look into your specs that I could not find on-line.
