(Solved) - Building a laptop

I would like to know if anyone out there knows how to build a laptop from scratch (just a case with a screen) I believe that I could probably do it with a micro atx motherboard but I was wondering where to buy the case

I've never seen a barebones laptop case because generally speaking every laptop manufacturer has its own design and to produce a small batch of cases for the DIY market would be uneconomic and if you've ever stripped down a laptop you will not find a standard ATX motherboard of any description. If you have a workshop you could probably build one out of sheet aluminium, but to be honest, unless you were looking at it as a hobby machine, again the economics of it would not pan out.
