Hii
I need to build a pc for working on Animation softwares like After Effects, 3D Studio Max, Maya, Photoshop.
Most of these softwares need fast processing speed (3D Studio Max, Maya) and some need good RAM (After Effects,Photoshop.).
Also would play some games in free time.
I am really tight on budget.

I only want to upgrade my CPU. And right now i dont want to spend much on GPU thats why currently i am buying a low end GPU.

I am looking for this two configurations to buy as they fit in my budget:
First Configuration:
Processor - AMD FX 8150
Motherboard - ASUS M5A88-M
RAM - Corsair 8 GB
GPU - ATI Raedeon HD 6450 1 GB
HDD - WD 1 TB
Cabinet - Cooler Master Elite 311
SMPS- VIP 400 Watt Gold

Second Configuration:
Processor - Inte i5 3570K
Motherboard - ASRock Z77 Extreme 4
RAM - Corsair Vengance 4 GB
GPU - ATI Raedeon HD 6450 1 GB
HDD - WD 1 TB
Cabinet - Cooler Master Elite 311
SMPS- VIP 400 Watt Gold

Please suggest me which configuration is better or suggest any better than this.
And i am really tight on budget.
And i live in india.

Thanks

I would go with the second configuration but install 8 or 16GB of RAM. The Intel 4000 chip on the i5 is probably as good or better than the Raedeon 6450. You can save those 40 bucks.

I would add a 120GB SSD for the OS and the programs.

Best to wait for new Intel 1150 CPUs and Mother boards which will be released in late May / early June.

They will have Intel 4500 Video Built-in and normally the CPUs are released in Far East and Asia First.

No use wasting money when new products are only a few short months away from being released.

Well they will provide better On-board Video.

Intel calls the current standard 4000.

The Haswell CPU will provide Video 4500.

Also one our Builders comments that "preliminary tests its about 15% faster architecture than Ivy Bridge" because of transistor changes.

With that comes less power consumption which means the CPU will be easier to cool.

If you Build the 1155 Ivy bridge now, your Build will not be upgradable as the Haswell CPU socket is for 1150 pin out.

A Year ago I would have agreed that your prospective 1155 Build is Good however with only Two months to go before the New Haswell is released, I would say now that you are wasting money on old product.

Here are some benchmarks on the Intel 4000 chip. If the 4500 is even better, then you would not need a graphics card in most cases.
