You have your answer " I've been messing with my virtual memory settings... ".
The code was probably 0x000000050 indicating a memory issue, where you have changed your memory settings this has caused the above notification. It could also indicate failing RAM, although I suspect it's where you've been messing with the settings.
If you knew what the settings were before you started playing with them, then set them back to what they were.
