BSoD Troubleshooting

Hi Guys,
Could someone point me to some tips for troubleshooting BSoD problems? I've been messing with my virtual memory settings in an effort to achieve smoother streaming video and even returning to the stock settings brings the blue screen. Help please.

What's the error code on the blue screen ?

for example 0x00000????

Yes, it also says something about PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGE_AREA.

You have your answer " I've been messing with my virtual memory settings... ".

The code was probably 0x000000050 indicating a memory issue, where you have changed your memory settings this has caused the above notification. It could also indicate failing RAM, although I suspect it's where you've been messing with the settings.

If you knew what the settings were before you started playing with them, then set them back to what they were.
