I am running Windows Vista and get the following message on start up:

The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable

It is referencing a temp directory and something called BPDSoftware

Anyone know what this is and how to get rid of this message?

Thank you

Something is running at startup that isn't compatible or something.

You could look in your startup folder in the start menu, as well as these two keys in the registry:
HKCU\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run
HKlm\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run

There's probably something installed with that name... you could also look in your add/remove programs. If there's something in there with that name, uninstall it.
