boot mgr missing

i followed the steps all the way but when i get to the system recovery options, under operation systems there is nothing there what do i do

yes that is what i was following but when i get to the part where it states to choose and operationg system there is nothing there, the on the bottom it says load driver, so i tried that but i have no clue what driver

Try running the repair disc 3 - 5 times.

My suspicion would be that you have no active partition. Check that first. It is either C or the 100MB system partition that has to be active.

Use the bootable CD of Partition Wizard for the inspection (last entry on the webpage). Should there be no active partition, highlight C and make that active. The controls are under the Partition tab > Modify.

The 'active' status you can see (or not) under the heading 'Status'.
