Bold, Italics, underline icons cause "Leave this page?"

I'm using Internet Explorer (8 - I think) on Win7 PC. Because of problems with Photoshop CS6, I updated my Nvidia GeForce G210 driver. Now, whenever (in several forums) I click the Bold, Italics, underline & sometimes other icons, I get "Do you want to leave this page?" message. "Leave" seems to mean "do not change" & "Stay" seems to mean "make changes". Neither causes me to leave the page.
