It takes time, patience, and a great deal of hard work to rank well in Google.

The primary rule is that you should concentrate on writing great content, and over time people will appreciate it. You're off to a great start with some good articles. I've written up some of my thoughts on what I've learned from writing: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto.....w-to-geek/

You can send me an email if you'd like, I let people write guest articles for HTG and link back to their blog at the top.

thanks for the helpful information :) and i figured that it was mainly a waiting game to get onto google and others but i seem to be doing pretty well i suppose i have already have 150 viewers and it has only been up 2 days :) and i am really doing it to have fun and not for all the ranking things.

also if any of you would like me to write about a certain topic or general topic i will try to get it done as soon as i can :) and i am glad that you guys have liked it so far as i wasn't sure how it was going to turn out as i have never done this sort of thing before

jack, this is very kind of you. A little too "bloody" for me though. You know I like things "plain". But it might come in handy to "dress up" a picture of my mother-in-law. - lol
