cjoy, Hi and welcome. Is this a laptop or a desktop? Try tapping F8 key several times after POST to go into Advance Boot Options and choose "Repair Your Computer" and let Windows fix the startup.

Usually a sign of:
A: Windows is corrupted.
B: Hard disk is defective.
C: Rootkit/Virus/Spywares.

Can you boot in SAFE MODE ?
