Black Friday Laptop - Worth Buying?

I have someone asking if this would be worth getting. They would not be doing anything intensive. (Gaming, CAD, etc.) They would mainly be using it for Office, web surfing, social networking, etc.

I am hesitant to buy single core processors anymore, but I have a bias because I personally do use system intensive applications. It is hard for me to step outside the box, because I am always afraid in a short period of time, that budget computers will be obsolete even for your "average joe" (in this case though, "average jane" :) ).

Thoughts?

For a basic machine, then yes, it's ok. And a good price.

Yeah, we were looking at that for her mother. She would just be doing browsing and mail and for that it is ample.
