Hi,
I am no expert and think I may have messed up here.
I used a 3rd party disk management tool (the name escapes me) to partition a hard drive on a windows 8 computer (Win 8 came pre-installed on it). I think I may have over partitioned or something because after the partition the computer won't start and I cannot even access the boot menu. I just get the (spanking new) BSOD after a couple of seconds.
What I tried to do to fix this was install the hard drive on a second comp running Windows 8 and reformat the disk and install a new OS on it. When I do that, the BIOS recognizes the new disk (though I cannot boot from it) but windows does not. Neither do I see it in Disk Management at all.
I would reformat the disk if I can, as I do not have any real data on there that I need, bit cannot even do that.....
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
