Full Disclosure - I work for Altaro Software

We are a new software company (Altaro Software) and we will soon be releasing a backup / version control product called 'Oops! Backup'. Oops! Backup is a hybrid between a traditional software backup product and a lightweight version control system. Oops! Backup automatically tracks changes to documents, photos and other files and allows you to backtrack to any point in time. To a certain extent it is a Time Machine for Windows - we did get influenced by it.

We will be going into BETA in about 3 weeks time and are looking for BETA testers - anyone willing to give it a try check out fill in the form at http://www.altaro.com/download.php. We will obviously give a free license for the BETA testers that download and test the product.

Oops! Backup has a great feature called BackInTime that allows you to go back in time and restore files. You can see backup product screenshots here.

A list of features for this software backup product at - backup features.

Your opinions and constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated (would love to hear the bad stuff ... more than the good stuff)

Before sending this I asked the site admins and they allowed me to post :)

Thank you guys :) I obviously asked the admins first - wouldn't just post before asking for permission - netiquette :)

Hey thanks a lot for your support!

Hey LH - you can test the product on your internal drive - it does not have to be an external drive.

David. You could always send me a bigger one. WD, 2½ inch Sata, 320 GB, 5400 would work just fine :)

Hi David,

Sorry about the mix-up at the start :)
I took a look now, signed up and I'll test it for you.
Not the kind of software I would normally use, but it looks interesting.
Might have friends who ought to use this LOL.

Cheers,
Sarah.
