I'm curious what you consider the best geek or tech related news site (other than Slashdot)

TechCrunch but the commenting is often unreadable.

I also go to Techdirt and Betanews (Techdirt and Slashdot often have a high degree of overlap).

I have a subscription to c|net's news.com. They have a number of different newsletters that you can subscribe to on different topics, keep their website well organized by subject, and allow user comments on every article. They also have CNET TV, though that is more for product reviews than up-to-the-minute news.

I use CHIP http://www.chip.de/ and Computer Bild http://www.computerbild.de/ Their daily feeds are pretty good.

Well in that vein I'm a fan of Toms Hardware and AnandTech. Oh and I should mention that Toms Hardware has many an international version too.

Just now, when I went to lifehacker.com they had a link to a HTG article on the front page!

@TheGeek, do you get paid for click-throughs? :D

No, I don't get paid for click-throughs.

Lifehacker actually links to us quite a bit, at least a couple of times per month.

Ars, GigaOM, Lifehacker but I dunno if that counts as news. NOT TechCrunch or Techmeme.
