best cd burning app for linux?

The other thread about vista made me think... what's the best app for cd burning on linux? I'm using ubuntu

Linux has alot of good opensource options but Nero is also available for linux.

I would like to second k3b. I've used it in Ubunutu (gnome) and it worked fine.

K3B is my favorite CD/DVD burning application- I highly recommend giving it a shot. A GNOME equivalent is GnomeBaker, but I've had a lot of issues with it in the past, so I reccomend using K3B if you don't mind having thde KDE libs. However, if you need to do anything with Blu-Ray or HD-DVD, the propietary Nero for Linux is your only option at this time as far as I know.

OK - I'll add my penny's worth too - I use K3B in PCLinuxOS - works great every time. I like it better than Roxio in Windows !!

i like to use nero burner lots of extra options to chose from..... being i have never tried k3b

I use Nero 8 Ultra Edition on Windows Vista Ultimate, and when I am on Ubuntu, I still use Nero 8 Ultra Edition for Linux, but when I am on Kubuntu, or any other Linux OS which uses the KDE UI by default, it has to be k3b.
