As helpful as that document is, I would far rather learn how to use EasyBCD ( http://neosmart.net/dl.php?id=1 ) then BCDEdit as EasyBCD saves a lot of time when configuring the new Windows Boot Manager (bootmgr) and Windows Boot Loader systems in Windows Vista and Higher.

For using EasyBCD see http://neosmart.net/wiki/displ.....ation+Home

Now, if your goal is to learn about Windows Boot Manager then I would recommend Google, Windows Live search* and Wikipedia as they have very good information about it.
See the following as an example:
Windows Live Search Query Windows Boot Manager
Google search query - Windows Boot Manager
Wikipedia - Windows Boot Manager
Google Result MSDN Page - Introduction to boot options

* Windows Live Search has the advantage over Google of being the search backend for the Microsoft Development Network (MSDN) Library.

JD, I don't know, man. Using a tools with "easy" in the name instead of using the command line? Not very geeky...! XD

Rick, good link, thanks. There is more information at the "parent" website of the link you gave. For example, this document about the BCD store has more info than even we geeks need, but it's interesting.
