hi,im brand new to ubuntu, and i love it, but you mention a lot of commands for bash. i find i want to use them but how the 'ell do you actually get into the bash command line ??????????? i cannot find any means of getting it!

Open up a Terminal window via Accessories, or type gnome-terminal into the Alt+F2 run box.
