Hi All

Most of the times I download the Avira antivirus' virus definition file (called "ivdf_fusebundle_nt_en.zip") and try to update Avira with it, the program tells me that the file is corrupted and refuses to accept it. The download is complete every time. But after two or three times it would eventually accept the last file downloaded. Is this happening to someone else?

Also, the manual updating procedure (without downloading the virus definition file) takes more than 15 minutes to start, and would never complete. (That's why I have to resort to downloading the big virus definition file). Is someone else facing the same problem? Is there a solution?

(The system is free from any malware. The problem is persistent even on a newly installed OS.)

Thanks in advance for the response.

There seems to be a problem with Avira's server. It has been working on and off for the last few weeks.
