Anyone noticing a problem with updates over the last week or so ?

I only noticed problems with it at college on a Windows 7 setup, it would not update automatically and a manual update seemed to take ages before the server connected. Matt

yup, had to redo some updates because they wouldn't pick up the first time. Gave it a try manually because of this post: takes forever, like Matt says.

Been trying manually, but then again, internet is very slow here at the moment.

My post was 18 minutes ago - not the slightest bit of progress with updating :(
Canceled it by now.

I guess Avira need to get get a bigger server farm, they must of become so popular that everything is maxed out!! Sometimes it does help to have a paid for anti-vir, lol. ;)

Let it run. It should get there in the end.

Maybe we could send orca over their way to kick them in the butt to do so?

Have you two ever thought of changing to Microsoft Security Essentials? I installed it yesterday on my 7 machine, seems ok and it´s been getting pretty good press write-ups!!

May well give it a try Matt.
And Sarah I know. My orca wasn't going to eat him,...just do the nose balancing trick. And then flick him back up. A good samaritan,
