AVG8 letting in much spam

My AVG8 did a good jab filtering span until a couple of days ago & it's now letting in much spam. It shows to be filtering the e-mails, but I'm getting them.

Delete your tracking cookies with Spybot or Superantispyware.

I did that, & I do it all the time. This just started, yesterday. The Icon was missing from the tool bar on the bottom, I got it back on & it looks like it filtering, but I'm gettin spamed to death. It always filtered better this for sure. Tim
