Is it possible on a windows 7, 64-bit desktop computer to create a desktop-resident program (or shortcut) that with only a one-time double click will:
(1) open dosbox
(2) mount a specified window's c-drive directory to dosbox's c drive
(3) load a specified executable that is then in dosbox's c-drive
(4) minimize the resulting window to the windows 7 taskbar

Mike ... Thank you .... THANK YOU .... THANK YOU!!! This is EXACTLY what I wanted to do. I have used this technique to successfully create a shortcut on my desktop to an old Broderbund DOS program called Memory Mate that Broderbund has long since discarded. This little program indexes every word on every page and recalls any item instantly using a simple "find" command to recall all pages containing whatever word is asked for. I have been using this program since I got my very first computer more years ago than I can remember. and I don't know how I could ever replace it or get by without it. Your help was invaluable and will be remembered with gratitude!!
